Frequently asked questions

A few good
questions.

The answers below explain our approach. Product-specific details and commercial terms are confirmed for your project, not assumed from a general website description.

Still have a question?

An early conversation can help establish what information is needed before you move forward.

Working together

Are you a manufacturer or a buying house?

Millspan Sourcing Limited is a buying house based in Bangladesh, not a garment factory. We connect buyers with manufacturers and provide sourcing and coordination support according to the scope agreed for each project.

Who do you work with?

Our focus is European clothing brands, independent labels, stores and retailers interested in sourcing garments from Bangladesh. We also welcome introductions from Bangladeshi manufacturers who want to discuss their product capabilities.

Can we talk if our collection is still at the idea stage?

Yes. An initial discussion can begin with references, a product description and estimated quantities. The next step is to identify what needs to be defined before feasibility, costing or sampling can be confirmed.

Do you offer every service on every project?

No. The scope depends on your needs and the arrangements agreed with the manufacturer and any third parties. Services, fees, responsibilities and communication expectations should be confirmed before work begins.

Products & sampling

What types of garments can we discuss?

Our product focus includes knitwear and basics, woven garments and shirting, denim and trousers, and layers and light outerwear. You can also share a different product idea for an initial feasibility discussion.

Do I need a finished tech pack?

A tech pack is helpful, but it is not essential for an initial conversation. Reference images, fabric preferences, fit information and estimated quantities can help explain your idea. Detailed specifications will need to be agreed before production.

What are the minimum order quantities?

Minimum quantities depend on the garment, fabric, colour, construction and manufacturer. Share your expected quantities per style and colour so suitable options can be discussed. We do not advertise a fixed minimum across all products.

How does sampling work?

Sample requirements, costs, timing and revision arrangements are discussed for the project. Buyer feedback should be consolidated against the agreed specification, with the necessary approvals completed before bulk production.

Can you work with specific fabrics or certifications?

Include those requirements in your brief. Material availability, documentation and any certification requirements need to be checked for the proposed product and supplier; they are not assumed from the category alone.

Pricing & delivery

How do I request a quotation?

Share the product specification, quantities per style and colour, fabric preferences, target price and currency, destination and preferred timing. The quotation page helps you prepare an email brief. Preparing a draft does not submit an enquiry or place an order.

How are prices and lead times agreed?

Prices and timing depend on the specification, materials, sample development, order volume and factory capacity. The quotation and production plan should confirm the relevant assumptions, approval dependencies and delivery basis.

What payment arrangements do you offer?

Payment schedules, currencies, payees and any service or third-party charges must be agreed for the project. There is no universal payment policy published on this website, and the website does not take payments.

Who handles freight and shipment documents?

Responsibilities are agreed between the buyer, manufacturer, buying house and appointed logistics partners. Confirm the delivery destination, delivery terms, freight arrangements and required documents before shipment. Shipment coordination does not automatically include every logistics or import service.

Quality & enquiries

How are quality checks arranged?

Product specifications, sample references, acceptance criteria and inspection or testing arrangements are agreed for the order. Confirm who carries out checks, who reviews findings and who authorises release. There is no fixed inspection standard advertised for every product.

Are all manufacturers certified?

We do not make a blanket certification claim about potential manufacturers. Any requested certificates, reports or assessments need to be checked for their relevance, scope and current status as part of supplier review.

Can I upload a tech pack on this website?

Not currently. The quotation tool prepares an email draft in your browser. Open it in your email app or copy it into your usual email service, then attach tech packs and reference images there.

Has my enquiry been sent when the draft is ready?

No. You still need to send the message using your own email app or email service. The website does not submit the brief to a server, and it does not show a delivery confirmation.
